Banks Peninsula Early Learning started off as the Plunket Community Preschool. It was bought by the community in 2022 and rebranded as Banks Peninsula Early Learning. A dedicated team of whānau, kaiako and locals in the community worked hard to bring it together with many of the original teaching team continuing to stay on. 

As the only preschool on the Peninsula we work hard to support and respond to the needs of the community. Our preschool feeds into the four primary schools which enables stronger connections within the community.
